Georgia State University Conflict Resolution Symposium Participants Write Haiku about Bullying

I am grateful to the Students, Faculty and other participants in a Healthy Haiku Workshop that I conducted this week at the Georgia State University 2013 Conflict Resolution Symposium.  We discussed bullying from the Bully’s perspective, from the “Victim’s” perspective and then the consequences of bullying – short and long term.  It was fun and as promised the time went quickly but not without the teams coming up with some awesome Haiku poems about Bullying!  Here is just a sample of the creations!  Enjoy!

I dominate you

You resent me for all this

Hate Perpetuates

(It starts and just continues)

Disrespect for me

Hurt for my Mentality

Abolish my Mind.

(Impact on the Victim)

I am not a Bully

Hurting people Hurt people

I want to be heard.

(Making sense of it all!)

Relationship Stuff

Drop out of Education

Drugs and Alcohol

(Long term effects of bullying on adults)

  2. I absolutely love your blog and find the majority
of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for. Do you
offer guest writers to write content for you personally?
I wouldn’t mind creating a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects you write
in relation to here. Again, awesome site!

  3. Hello there! This post could not be written any better!
Going through this post reminds me of my previous roommate!
He always kept preaching about this. I’ll forward this article to him.
Pretty sure he’s going to have a good read. Many thanks for sharing!
